Are SEO Automation Tools Worth The Money?

Let me net this out for you. If you’re working on one site, then the answer is “no”. With one site, you have the luxury of deep diving, and focusing on HIGHER QUALITY.

But, if you’re focused on many different sites, the then game changes. You need to be able to owrk multiple sites, post multiple articles, and still manage to get out for lunch. This is where SEO automation tools really help.

THe top 5 things that SEO automation tools accomplish for you are:

1) Creating accounts. You need different accounts for different websites. SEO automation tools do this, and keep track of the accounts for you.
2) Social bookmarking. SEO automation tools help you bookmark posts on various social bookmarking sites. Again, they help you create the accounts, and then actually automate the submission process.
3) Article marketing. Are you writing content? SEO automation tools like article spinners help you research content, develop new, unique content, and post the content to the multiple websites.
4) Managing social media profiles. Profiles are high power sites that really help you build presence. SEO automation tools speed this process substantially.
5) RSS. RSS is killer and a huge part of social media marketing. I use SEO automation tools to help me move this process along.

There’s also pinging, tracking URLs for effectiveness, etc. All things you have to do for multiple sites that SEO automation tools really help with.

I hope that summary helps.

Obviously, we’re biased to SEnuke here. But, there are a lot of other tools such as IBP and others that are effective as well. At the end of the day, it’s really about developing a method, a system, and executing on this system. The tools only help with the process–they don’t define it.

Just a quick little note. I had been transcoding my videos from quicktime to .mpg format for use with SEnuke. But, I figured out that if you’re OK not having a preview of the video, it really doesn’t matter. You can upload .MOV files just as easily!
